hi! we’re karim & salima, the creative minds behind a fare affair!
a fare affair is our love letter, to the world, about the delicious foods and beautiful destinations that have made us forever foodies and globe trotters!
our passion for all things food and travel began with studying abroad in college. we never quite got rid of the travel bug and managed to land jobs that, to this day, pay us to travel the world. our work has taken us around the globe (except Australia and Antarctica but we’ll get there eventually!). together we’ve visited over 26 states and 38 countries and don’t plan on stopping until we’ve seen every corner of the world!
we aspire to share our favorite food and travel experiences, recommendations and photos with other avid foodies and globe-trotters. we also hope to inspire a sense of adventures in those who may be a bit risk averse!
